Basket from Garden to Laundry Tops the Rest

Various chores around the home are much more pleasant when using quality tools and equipment. There is nothing more frustrating than working diligently at a chore only to have issues with the tools or equipment. On laundry day, do you use plastic baskets? Do you enjoy using a clothesline? While walking to the clothesline carrying a heavy load of wet towels and men’s denim overalls, the handles break off the plastic laundry basket or even worse, the sides of a flimsy basket collapse. Does this sound familiar to you? This happened to me on a regular basis for the first thirty years of our marriage. I even cut myself on those silly, flimsy baskets as they began to tear apart. At least, until I found the solution and now have no laundry basket issues. How many laundry baskets have you purchased in the last five or even ten years? Before I found an amazingly sturdy basket, I was purchasing a new one every couple of years.

When shopping at one of my favorite local stores a few years ago, I discovered the Deluxe Basket by Quality Plastics, LLC. Surprisingly, the price was very affordable and not more than the competitors’ thinner walled baskets. I purchased three to replace the ones I had and I’ve never looked back! The baskets are stackable and extremely durable. We have tried to bend them and they won’t give in! The design is perfect for any age person to transport laundry to the clothesline. They are ergonomically designed and can be easily held with one or both hands. I appreciate there is no more back strain when carrying heavy loads. There is no fear of handles popping off because the basket is made in one piece.

With a one-bushel capacity, this basket is even marked with measurements. As one who preserves food through home canning, I find the measurements very helpful so I can have an idea of how many quarts of food my harvest might produce. Rinsing garden vegetables is super easy in this Deluxe Basket as drainage holes are on all sides and the bottom. The basket can go from garden to laundry as it never stains. It is easily rinsed or cleaned with water.

Oftentimes I have found myself washing laundry outside due to electrical power outages. The basket serves me well as I rinse soap from clothing before wringing and hanging it to dry.

The Deluxe Basket is sold online and is available for pick-up at the manufacturing site. It is completely designed and manufactured in Ohio, USA. The basket is offered in three colors: tan, blue and orange. It’s a fun idea to color-code laundry. Assign the dirty laundry to the tan baskets and the clean to the orange, for example. Or, assign different basket colors to different family members. We owned two colors until I gifted our blue baskets to family members who raved about them. My daughter-in-law said, “This is the sturdiest basket I have ever seen!” Other friends of ours have purchased these heavy-duty baskets to own and to give as Christmas gifts. The quality is unmatched as is the price. A quick internet search reveals that a competitive basket costs more than the Deluxe Basket and is made from flimsy material. Why not make the same investment for a product that will last for many years?
