Plastic Canning Jar Ring - Regular Mouth/Wide Mouth Jar Size - 12 pack

Hi, purchased both large & regular mouth. The work great when pressure canning or possibly Steam Canning (I haven't tried Steam Canning but it should work) here's what I learned. Waterbathing safely requires 1-2 inches of water covering over the top and a rolling boil. The lids tend to loosen and float off under these conditions. However, if used in a pressure canner, they work great! And pressure canning with metal rings will rust, etc. The Quality Plastic brand does not get the nasty rust and gunk. These Plastic Lids are dishwasher safe. I have been using them, ALOT for pressure canning for the past 2 years. They do need to be very tight, and removing them under running water is needed if they sometimes get stuck. That sad, they last much longer than metal rings and are made with US Sourced food grade materials.
